About Swellegant
The Business
Swellegant is a trading name of Isabelle Page, sole trader. The business was founded in November 2004 by Isabelle Page, who had one child and was then pregnant with her second child, when she realised that there was a very limited supply of stylish clothes available for pregnant woman to wear to special occasions such as wedding or smart evening events.
The Outfits
Many of the clothes are sourced from the United States from companies such as Pea in the Pod, Gap Maternity, Menanove or from well-known Eurpoean companies such as Formes. This means that you will be wearing a high-quality outfit that is unlikely to be seen on anyone else.
The Name
The name comes from a song from the musical, High Society, in the line:
"What an elegant, swellegant party, this is..."
